How to transfer tuition fees to Singapore?

When you apply for studying in Singapore, tuition will be paid by course and by semester. Tuition fee is divided into several installments to pay. When you submit your application, you have to pay the registration fee first. After the school sends you an approval letter for a student visa, you will have to pay the first tuition fee and other non-tuition fees.

Let’s explore how to quickly and conveniently transfer money internationally with  SOON CHENG.

Our company does not collect tuition fees for the school. Instead, we provide students with instructions on money transfer procedures. This is not only a requirement of Singapore schools, but also shows transparency in financial matters.

Tuition fees will be transferred to the school by bank transfer which is the simplest and safest form. You should select main branches of large banks to avoid wasting time during the process of international transferring money.

To transfer tuition fees to study in Singapore, you have to prepare documents including:

For students transferring by themselves:

  • Original passport and 1 copy
  • Admission letter from school (which SOON CHENG can prepare for you)
  • Invoice for tuition payment (which SOON CHENG can prepare for you)

For students whose Father or Mother (or relatives named in Household Registration and Birth Certificate):

  • Original ID card of the person paying the tuition fee
  • Original household registration and 1 copy (or Copy of household registration with notarized stamp)
  • Original birth certificate and 1 copy of the student (or copy of birth certificate with notarized stamp)
  • School admission letter (which SOON CHENG can prepare for you)
  • Invoice for tuition payment (which SOON CHENG can prepare for you)

Remember that when transferring money, students should bring VND instead of foreign currencies to avoid paying twice the exchange rate fee. In addition to tuition fees in the school’s invoice, students will also pay fees from both banks (in Singapore and Vietnam). After completing transfering, students will receive a money transfer certificate – T/T Slip. A copy of the TT Slip will be submitted to the company, and the original will be used to submit to the school upon admission.

SOON CHENG hopes that the above few simple steps can help international students complete the tuition payment procedure simply and quickly.
