From June 25 to July 2, 2025, the prestigious Harvard Crimson Business Competition – Championship Round took place at Harvard University, gathering 39 top-performing student teams from around the world. This global event, organized by The Harvard Crimson, the official student newspaper of Harvard University, is one of the most competitive and intellectually rigorous business competitions designed for secondary students worldwide.
For the first time ever, Vietnam officially had two teams qualify for the HCBC Championship Round, selected through the Asia Business Simulation (ABS) competition organized by Soon Cheng. These talented students not only represented their country with pride but also made a remarkable impression among 126 international delegates from across five continents.

The Harvard Crimson Business Competition challenges young minds to tackle pressing global issues—such as climate change, education inequality, sustainable development, and cybersecurity—through innovative, research-driven business solutions. The Championship Round provides an immersive experience combining Harvard-led lectures, entrepreneurial workshops, global networking, and a final pitch presentation judged by industry professionals and academics.

🎓 Beyond the Competition: Education & Exploration
Following the competition, students participated in an enriching University Admissions Session hosted by Harvard students and admissions officers, providing insights into the U.S. college application process and campus life.
The journey concluded with a two-day educational tour in New York City, where participants explored cultural landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, Columbia University, Times Square, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art – broadening their global perspective and creating lasting memories.
