Introduction
The YIS Global Stock Pitch Competition is the flagship program of the Young Investors Society (YIS) — a leading nonprofit organization founded in 2015 by Wall Street Chief Investment Officer James Fletcher, alongside finance experts from Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs, and J.P. Morgan. The program aims to build financial literacy, investment skills, and career readiness for students aged 14–18 through a unique blend of classroom learning, stock trading simulation, and professional mentorship.
Today, YIS connects over 17,000 students annually across 100+ countries and regions, offering a global platform to learn, compete, and lead.

Preliminary Round
Date: December 19, 2025 (Online)

Format: 40 multiple-choice questions on finance theory and calculations

All winners receive Certificates of Achievement and qualify for the Asia Round.
Asia Round
Location: Xiamen, China
Date: February 6–11, 2026

Modules:
- Committee Session – Build a comprehensive investment framework
- Stock Trading Simulation – Manage $100,000 in virtual funds using a real-market system
- Stock Pitch Competition – Analyze real companies, design a “Buy or Sell” report, and pitch to professional judges
Winners of the Overall and Stock Pitch Awards will advance to the Global Round in New York.

Students will visit Wall Street, Bloomberg, NYSE, and NASDAQ, participate in finance workshops, and network with industry leaders and global peers.
