💡 ABOUT SMC
Senior Mathematical Challenge (SMC) is organized by the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT). This is suitable for students grade 12 or below. SMC focuses on cultivating students’ logical thinking and the problem-solving ability that apply mathematics precisely and fluently. Additionally, the problems are highly challenging and flexible, along with some stimulating problems that do not involve advanced mathematical knowledge for both beginners and experienced problem-solvers.

💡 GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Eligible participants: Students Grade 12 or below
- Competition date: October 3, 2024
- Language: English
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Format: 25 multiple-choice questions
- Mode: Online with 2 devices (one for the test, one for supervision)
- Registration deadline: September 24, 2024

- Gold: 80+
- Silver: 64+
- Bronze: 49+
- Best in School: The top 1 participant in the school
- Best in Year: The top 1 participant in each grade in the school
Top-Scoring Rules 66% of participants will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze in the ratio 1:2:3. And international participants will be awarded based on the UK thresholds. Students not amongst the high scorers will receive a Certificate of Participation in E-version.
