How much is the JCU Singapore Scholarship 2024 worth?
- 100% tuition scholarship for ONE academic year (Equivalent to 33% of full tuition for all university years)
- 50% tuition scholarship for ONE academic year
- 25% tuition scholarship for ONE academic year
Conditions for receiving JCU Singapore scholarship 2024
- Scholarship for ONE academic year equivalent to 8 subjects.
- The scholarship will be used in the final semester of the program.
- Students who completely transfer to a study program in Australia will not be able to use the scholarship.
- Scholarships will be determined by James Cook University.
- Scholarships for 8 subjects will be used in the last 2 semesters of the program.
- Scholarships for 4 subjects will be used in the final semester of the program
- Scholarships for 2 subjects will be used in the final semester of the program.
Conditions for applying for James Cook University Singapore scholarship 2024
- Average score for the entire 11th grade year is at least 6.0, or has passed the high school graduation exam.
- Satisfy James Cook University’s entry requirements for Bachelor or Master programs
- Submit application form and registration fee of 260 SGD
Admission requirements for James Cook University (JCU) Singapore University Scholarship
- Deadline to apply for the James Cook Singapore Scholarship: 11/04/2024
- Exam date: April 18, 2024 (online exam)
- Format: IQ test (SOON CHENG will send previous years’ exam questions for students to review)
- Admission: Applicable to students enrolling in the May and July 2024 semester.
- Scholarship results will be announced 1 week after the exam date and will depend on the decision of James Cook University.
- After 2 weeks of notification of scholarship results, if the student does not confirm to study at JCU Singapore, the scholarship will not be recognized and will be considered a scholarship refusal.
- Pay an application fee of 260 SGD. If the student attends school, this fee will be refunded. If you don’t go, there will be no refund.
Rules
- The scholarship is only open to students who will be studying at the Singapore campus of James Cook University (JCUS).
- The highest scholarship covers 100% of 1-year academic tuition, equivalent to the tuition of 8 subjects at JCUS.
- The scholarship will be applied to the final subjects of the program (up to 8 subjects).
- The scholarship is only available for Bachelor and Master programs, except Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honors), Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Master of Philosophy.
- Scholarship recipients will not be eligible to receive other scholarships at the Singapore campus of James Cook University.
- The scholarship may be revoked if in the opinion of the school, the student’s academic progress or behavior is unsatisfactory.
- JCUS does not guarantee employment to scholarship recipients after graduation.
- If the scholarship recipient decides to leave school or terminate their studies before the program ends, the school has the right to request the student to pay back the costs related to the scholarship.
- The school has the right to decide on scholarship awards.
- The scholarship cannot be transferred to James Cook University campuses in Australia.
- The scholarship winner will be asked to become a student ambassador or James Cook University representative to share experiences or speak when needed.
- In case of conflict, the decision of James Cook University is final.
