Asia Business Simulation Global Final & Semi-League 2025: Vietnam Make Their Mark at WYEF in Shanghai

From July 31 to August 5, Shanghai became the heartbeat of global youth entrepreneurship as the World Youth Economic Forum (WYEF) 2025 welcomed more than 1,000 students from 10 countries including China, Japan, Vietnam, Canada, Malaysia, Switzerland, Mongolia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Finland.

At the center of the forum stood the Asia Business Simulation (ABS) – Global Final and Semi – League, where future leaders tested their entrepreneurial spirit in an arena that blended competition, collaboration, and culture.

A Global Stage for Young Business Leaders

The ABS competition is designed to replicate the intensity of real-world business environments, challenging students to take on the roles of corporate executives. Across multiple rounds, teams were tasked with:

  • Market Analysis & Strategic Decisions – interpreting global economic trends and making high-stakes choices.

  • Operations Management – balancing resources, financial planning, and sustainable growth.

  • Roadshows & Pitches – presenting innovative business ideas to panels of international judges.

  • Innovation & Creativity – developing tech-enabled solutions with real-world impact.

This immersive simulation tested not only academic knowledge but also teamwork, creativity, and the ability to adapt under pressure.

Vietnam’s Remarkable Achievements

Representing Vietnam were 13 outstanding teams with 98 students, competing with passion, intelligence, and resilience. Their efforts paid off with impressive results at both the Global Final and Semi-League:

  • 🥇 2 Gold Awards – Senior Final (Company 67 – Poseidon) & Semi-League (Company 8 – Mentora)

  • 🥉 4 Bronze Awards – across Senior and Junior divisions

  • 🌟 126 Special Awards – honoring excellence in strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship, operations, and marketing

These results not only showcased Vietnam’s academic strength but also its ability to innovate and perform on par with the world’s best.

While the medals were a highlight, WYEF 2025 was more than just a contest. Over six days, students experienced a rich journey of learning and cultural exchange, including:
