An Immersive Business Simulation Experience for Future Global Leaders
On January 14, 2026, Soon Cheng, in collaboration with Canada International School and Sedbergh School, successfully organized the ABS Trading Game Workshop – a hands-on, experiential learning activity designed to introduce students to the core concepts and competitive dynamics of the Asia Business Simulation (ABS) competition.
As part of the ABS introductory program series, the workshop provided students from both schools with a valuable opportunity to engage directly in a simulated business environment, where theoretical knowledge was transformed into practical experience through real-time decision-making and strategic interaction.
Learning Business Through Experience
During the Trading Game, students stepped into the roles of young entrepreneurs operating in a simulated market. They were tasked with making strategic decisions, negotiating with peers, managing limited resources, and continuously adjusting their approaches in response to changing market conditions.
The learning environment was highly dynamic and interactive, characterized by lively discussions, in-depth strategic debates, and strong collaboration across teams.

Their quick responses, logical reasoning, and willingness to refine strategies reflected a solid understanding of real-world business principles and the entrepreneurial mindset that the Asia Business Simulation aims to cultivate.
