On January 9, 2026, alongside the official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Soon Cheng and UK Academy Binh Thanh, a special academic activity was successfully organized: the Asia Business Simulation (ABS) Workshop for UK Academy students.
The workshop marked an important step in translating strategic partnership commitments into practical educational experiences, allowing students to directly engage with an international-standard academic model that emphasizes experiential learning and real-world application.
Experiencing Business Through Simulation
Moving beyond traditional textbook-based instruction, the ABS Workshop introduced students to a business simulation environment in which they assumed the role of business leaders and decision-makers. Through the simulation, students analyzed market data, evaluated risks, developed strategies, and made real-time decisions in a dynamic and competitive setting.
Throughout the workshop, discussion tables were filled with energetic exchanges of ideas. Students demonstrated strong critical thinking, logical reasoning, and teamwork skills, engaging in in-depth debates to defend their strategies and adjust their approaches in response to changing market conditions. The learning atmosphere was highly interactive, collaborative, and intellectually stimulating.

One of the most notable outcomes of the workshop was the students’ confidence and adaptability. As they stepped into the role of young entrepreneurs, students showed a strong willingness to test ideas, learn from outcomes, and continuously refine their strategies to achieve better results. This mindset reflects the core philosophy of Asia Business Simulation – preparing students not only with knowledge, but with the ability to think strategically, act decisively, and learn through experience.
UK Academy Binh Thanh – Host School for ABS HCMC Regional Round 2026
The ABS Workshop also served as a meaningful introduction to the upcoming Asia Business Simulation – Ho Chi Minh City Regional Round, which will be hosted by UK Academy Binh Thanh on April 4 – 5, 2026. Building on the success of the ABS Ho Chi Minh City Regional Round 2025, with the participation of over 110 students from schools across Vietnam, the school continues to play a vital role as the Host School in supporting high-quality academic platforms that connect students with regional and international learning opportunities.
